Remdisivir - Mechanism of action (With summary in German language)
This video relates to the mechanism of action of #remdisivir, which is an antiviral drug. This drug can actively work against Ebola virus, Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (#SARS-CoV), Middle East respiratory syndrome (#MERS-CoV), and significantly better than placebo against, Covid-19 or SARS-CoV-2. This drug converts into metabolites and inhibits the activity of Viral RNA-dependent, RNA polymerase (RdRp), eventually inhibiting viral RNA replication.
