People from around the world have found grid lines in the seafloor on Google Earth. They called these as the city streets of the "Atlantis" city.

The updates have not only improved the accuracy of ocean maps but it has also been reported that 15% of the images have been taken from the sonar soundings taken at a resolution of 1 km. Sonar method has been used by the oceanographers to map the seafloor. The earlier versions had 10% of the seafloor provided from sonar soundings with much of the data taken from satellite exploration.
